Start to watch Video Playback of Salespeople interacting with Customers. You will be able to much more fully study and observe each Salesperson’s performance and work habits. If you do this, you will increase Vehicle Sales.

In Sales Meetings, show at least one positive and one negative incident on playback to your Salespeople. The recordings can be just a few seconds or a few minutes. Go through Video Playback looking for Customer interactions with Salespeople in the Showroom or the Lots. Find a positive recording, where the Customer is clearly happy and relaxed with the Salesperson. In the Sales Meeting, ask the particular Salesperson to describe what they did to make the Customer happy. Did it lead to a test drive? A sale? Then find a negative recording, for example where the Customer walks away from the Salesperson with tense body language. Have the Salesperson describe what happened. Why did the Customer leave? Salespeople will love this part of the meeting. They will have a much more acute awareness of their interactions with Customers for the following week, knowing they may be chosen to describe those interactions at the next Meeting.

Video Playback at Sales Meetings boosts morale. Salespeople will be even more motivated to close deals. You will create more of an atmosphere of support and encouragement. Their awareness will be heightened. They will be keen to demonstrate their skills to you ‘on camera.’
